Introduction: The mission was sent by the U.S. President. Its aim was to report actual conditions viewing to take Armenia under USA’s mandate as strongly wished by the Allies. At that date Armenia was a sovereign republic founded on 28.5.1918 which entered under Ottoman protection a week later.
